ICONIC — New apartments with private pool, frontline beach in Callao Salvaje

Set frontline beach, a few minutes from the centre of Callao Salvaje (Costa Adeje), the ICONIC residential complex is a project by Gold Estates and Maple Tree entrusted to architect Leonardo Omar. The buildings rise across successive levels, each row raised above the one in front: the sun follows the terraces throughout the day and the view over the Atlantic stays open from every home.

The six apartments available in phase II occupy the garden level of the fourth row. All share the same typology: two bedrooms, two bathrooms and around 89 m² of living space, within a built area of 112 to 118 m². To this are added a front terrace of 39 to 44 m², a rear terrace of 12 to 19 m², a private garden, an 8 m² basement storage room and a parking space. Total surface therefore ranges from 210 m² to more than 290 m² for unit 4.01, which enjoys a garden of almost 103 m².

The development’s signature comes down to a line of water: every apartment has its own infinity pool, overflowing at the front and along the sides, of roughly 22 m², treated by salt electrolysis and lit by LED spots. It extends the main terrace, itself sheltered by a slatted pergola, and opens straight onto the horizon.

The specifications match that ambition. Floors are large-format Porcelanosa porcelain stoneware in 60 × 60 or 80 × 80 cm, the kitchen is fitted with Miele appliances, an induction hob and Franke taps, exterior joinery is anodised aluminium with double glazing, and the entrance door is Mulberry veneered. Domestic hot water comes from an aerothermal heat pump with a 250-litre tank; reversible air conditioning is ducted within the false ceilings, with an indoor unit and individual control in every room. Wi-Fi covers the whole home, complemented by a Tegui video intercom, Schneider fittings and television and telephone sockets in the living room, kitchen and all bedrooms.

Outside, the gardens are planted with royal palms and areca palms, with automatic irrigation controlled over Wi-Fi. Access is through a steel gate with video intercom and a motorised sectional garage door.

Callao Salvaje belongs to the municipality of Adeje, on the south-west coast of Tenerife. The neighbourhood has kept a village scale — black-sand coves, a coastal promenade, restaurants and local shops — while remaining a few minutes’ drive from the beaches of Costa Adeje, the golf courses and the TF-1 motorway. The climate stays mild all year round, between 20 and 29 degrees.
