A second home in Tenerife

A house in the sun you can use all year round, four and a half hours from home: Tenerife makes it possible. What remains is choosing the right neighbourhood and the right kind of property, then arranging its upkeep between stays.

Why Tenerife

Winter closes nothing in the south

Unlike the Mediterranean coast, the south of Tenerife does not close for winter: 22 to 26 °C in January, terraces open at Christmas, a sea you can swim in twelve months a year. Your second home is not condemned to eight months of shuttered windows.

The island also offers what reassures over the long term: a robust healthcare system, genuine everyday safety, stable air links and a well-established French-speaking community. If you are aiming for four to six short stays a year rather than one long winter in the sun, the mainland coasts deserve to be weighed up: Málaga 2 h 45 away, Alicante 2 h 05, no time difference. We make that comparison with you, without arguing for one or the other.

Which property to choose

Three families of property, and what each one requires

Beachfront apartment

The easiest to live in and to lock up between stays: secured residence, shared pool, terrace facing the ocean. Ideal for regular, short stays.

Townhouse

The balance between space and simplicity: two to three bedrooms, a small terrace or patio, within quiet developments close to the shops.

Villa with pool

The true family house: generous volumes, garden, private pool and views. It calls for organised upkeep, which we help you set up.

The house without the mental load

Upkeep from afar, arranged once and for all

A successful second home is a house you never have to worry about between stays. We help you put the right arrangements in place: a trusted concierge service, key management, regular check-ins, garden and pool maintenance, and inspections after a windstorm.

Before each arrival, the house is opened, aired and ready. After each departure, it is checked and closed up. You receive a photo update if anything deserves your attention — otherwise, you hear nothing at all.

The second-home checklist

Eight points we systematically review with our clients.

Define how you will really use it: how many weeks a year, in which seasons?
Choose a neighbourhood that is alive all year, not only in summer
Check accessibility: airport transfers, car hire, parking
Plan the full budget: price + 9 to 12% in fees + furnishing
Organise the upkeep: concierge, key management, garden and pool
Anticipate the obligations of a non-resident owner in Spain
Think about resale: favour locations that remain sought after
Visit at the right times: sunlight, wind and noise change quickly
