The atmosphere
La Caleta closes Costa Adeje to the north. The fishing village it was thirty years ago has kept its fabric: low houses around a small cove, fishing boats and a few streets at the water’s edge. New building stays rare here. Swimming happens in the coves, because there is no large sandy beach.
The seafood restaurants carry the village, from the most traditional to the most inventive. You eat facing the sunset over La Gomera, then walk home along the promenade. A diving school and water sports operate from the coves.

Everything else is done in Costa Adeje, five minutes away by car: supermarkets, clinics and shopping centres. The golf course sits above the village. The coastal promenade reaches Playa del Duque in a twenty-minute walk.
Supply is narrow: a few contemporary front-line residences, villas on the neighbouring hills and a small number of village houses. Homes change hands rarely and prices are high. When a seafront address comes free, it finds a buyer within weeks.
The village suits a second home as much as year-round living, for buyers who want quiet: restaurants and coves are on foot, and the services of Costa Adeje five minutes away. The trade-off is plain, few homes for sale and high prices.
Everyday life

- Local shops
- Playa El Duque a 20-min walk away
- Diving school and water sports

The property market
Supply is rare: contemporary front-line residences, villas on the hills and a few village houses. Prices follow that scarcity, and seafront homes find a buyer within weeks.
Observed price range: €450,000 – €4M
Who is it for?
Buyers who want the seafront without the activity of a resort: couples living here all year, second homes used several times a year. The village is walkable, restaurants and coves included, and the services of Costa Adeje are five minutes away by car. Supply is limited, so the search takes time.

Strengths
- The village fabric is intact: low houses and narrow streets at the water’s edge
- Seafood restaurants and fine-dining tables within walking distance
- Sunset over La Gomera from the promenade
- The full services of Costa Adeje five minutes away by car
- New building is rare: the number of homes stays stable
Things to consider
- Very few homes for sale: the search needs patience
- High prices, driven by the scarcity of supply
- No large sandy beach in the village itself
- Restaurants are very busy in high season
